ROBBERY, BURGLARY AND THEFTS FROM AUTO LEAD POLICE WEEK

From Maplewood Police:

April 25, 2017; Robbery; At approximately 10:45 AM, a 43 year old male walking on Franklin Terr was approached from behind by two males and assaulted.  The males then took his cell phone and fled on foot.  The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.

April 26, 2017; Burglary; At approximately 12:45 officers responded to an alarm activation at a home on Hillcrest Rd.  Upon their arrival, they found that entry had been forced to the home.  At the time of the report, it was unknown if anything was taken from the home.

April 26, 2017; Theft from Vehicle; During the overnight hours, a pair of sunglasses were removed from an unsecured vehicle on the 200 block of Elmwood Ave.


April 26, 2017; Attempted Motor Vehicle Theft; Sometime over the previous four days, a vehicle parked on Franklin Terr had it’s door lock and ignition damaged.
