QUICK CHEK ROBBERY LEADS POLICE WEEK

From Maplewood Police today:

December 5, 2015; Robbery; At approximately 01:30 AM the Quick Chek located on Springfield Ave was robbed.  A light skinned black male wearing a hat and partial face mask entered the store and passed a note to the clerk.  The note demanded the clerk empty the drawers into a bag.  The male then fled with the cash on foot.  The male is believed to be in his late teens or early 20’s.  During the course of the robbery a weapon was implied by the actor grabbing their waist band, but no weapon was ever observed. No one was injured.

December 2, 2015; Theft from Auto; Between 1:30 and 2 PM a truck making a delivery on Camptown Rd had a GPS unit stolen from it.

December 4, 2015 ; Attempted Motor Vehicle Theft; During the overnight hours a Jeep parked on Woodside Rd was entered and the ignition sustained damage consistent with an attempted theft.
