SCHOOL BOARD APPROVES SUPERINTENDENT CONTRACT CHANGE ON HEALTH INSURANCE

The Board of Education on Monday night approved a change to Superintendent John Ramos' contract that will provide him with the same health insurance coverage that is provided to other district employees.

His contract originally did not provide it as he received coverage from a former employer.

The board members explained the change during their discussion below:

 

The board voted, 8-0, to approve the coverage, with Board Member Johanna Wright abstaining. It did not indicate what the cost to the district will be.
