THE LAST JAC SHELTER DOG IN NEED SEEKS NEW HOME ON FACEBOOK

Meet Sunny the American Bulldog. This friendly, healthy pup represents the end of the Jersey Animal Coalition in South Orange and needs a home.

The last of the dogs from the shelter that shut down last year, Sunny is looking for his next place to live.

And so are some of his adult friends who have created a Facebook page for their four-legged friend.

Check it out HERE and give him a chance if you are looking for a pooch.

Among the volunteers helping to place young Sunny is Steven Block, who tells us via email:

Sunny is the last dog from JAC that is still unplaced.
Three of the JAC dogs are at a rescue in Pennsylvania but they are not under
the JAC umbrella anymore. Sunny is the last "unplaced" dog who is still
looking for a home. Currently (and since the beginning of March),
Sunny has been down at a boarding/training
facility in Cape May County.

He has gotten several preliminary inquiries over the months, but
there are some challenges in getting him adopted, most difficult being
that he needs to be the only pet in the home.

He has bounced around a bit as he was with a foster in Caldwell NJ for a
short period of time then up with me in Connecticut for months, before we
decided to enroll him in a training program in South Jersey.

Anyone interested in Sunny should reach out to Block at
SunnyTheAmericanBulldog@gmail.com.
