THREE DEMOCRATS, ONE REPUBLICAN FILE FOR TC PRIMARY ELECTION

Three candidates have filed to run in the Democratic primary for Township Committee in June, while just one Republican is running in that primary.

With today' deadline for petitions to be submitted for the primary, incumbent Jerry Ryan and challengers Nancy J. Adams and Greg Lembrich submitted their petitions.

Republican Phyllis F. Scalera was the lone GOP candidate to enter the primary.

The candidates are running for two seats on the TC, which are currently held by Ryan and Kathy Leventhal, who has said she is not running again.

The primary is June 2.

Independent candidates can still file petitions to run in the general election. That deadline is June 2.
