RENOWNED ARCHITECTS CALL POST OFFICE PROJECT "A SHAME" AT CHS EVENT

Architect legends, and Maplewood/South Orange veterans, Peter Eisenman and Richard Meier, spoke Monday at Columbia High School as part of the Ideas Festival this month.

During their visit, which was introduced by Mayor Vic De Luca, they were asked what they thought of the controversial redevelopment of the former Maplewood Village Post Office site and demolition of the building, calling it "a shame" and saying residents "should be really concerned" about the impact.
