ARMED ROBBERY IN VICTIM'S DRIVEWAY TOPS POLICE WEEK


From Maplewood Police today:

December 9, 2014; Robbery; At approximately 12:55 AM, a resident of South Fourth St and his girlfriend were seated in a vehicle in the driveway of home.  While talking they were approached by three males wearing mask and displaying what was described as a shotgun.  They demanded their belongings and took two cell phones and a purse before fleeing in a white vehicle towards Irvington Ave. No one was injured.
 
December 9, 2014; Motor Vehicle Theft and Attempts;  Between 7:30 and 11:45 AM, a vehicle parked on Dunnell Rd received damage to it’s door lock and ignition, a vehicle on Burnet St received door lock damage and a Jeep Cherokee was stolen from Oakview Ave.
