THREE BURGLARIES AND THREE ARRESTS MARK POLICE WEEK

From Maplewood Police today:

April 8, 2014; Burglary; At approximately 11:15 AM a Franklin Ave resident reported that two males had attempted to enter the rear door of his home. Officers responded to the area and located two individuals matching the description given by the resident a few blocks away. The resident was unable to make identification of the males that were stopped and both were eventually sent on their way.

April 11, 2014; Burglary; At approximately 1:00 PM, Officer Verdun located a suspicious vehicle on Sagamore Rd. He stopped the vehicle along with three individuals. The on scene investigation along with the detective bureau led to the arrest of three males for burglary and possession of stolen packages. The adult Kervin Julien, age 19 of Irvington as well as a juvenile male from Irvington and a juvenile male from Maplewood were all taken into custody and charged.

 April 11, 2014; Burglary; During the previous two days, a home on Laurel Ave was entered and copper pipes stolen.
