On Wednesday, April 9th, the Board of the Maplewood Village Alliance unanimously approved the current design of the mixed used building to replace the post office (see renderings).
This approval came after a collaborative
process of almost 20 hours of meetings and negotiations between the
developers, the Village Alliance's Post Office Design Review
Sub-Committee and the Township. The developer's selection of final
construction materials and signage will similarly need approvals by the
Village Alliance
