TC APPROVES BUDGET WITH 2.5% TAX HIKE.

The Township Committee on Tuesday approved a $39.6 million budget for fiscal 2013-2014, with a 2.5% tax hike.

This is above the state-mandated 2% cap, but allowed because previous tax increases had been lower, zero in 2011 and 1.99% last year.
