ST. JAMES GATE ASSAULT CASE GETS NEXT COURT DATE

The St. James Gate assault incident will go to court again on April 25 in Bloomfield, according to Attorney Robert Kuttner, who is representing bartender James Meade, who has been accused of assaulting a gay customer.

But Meade has also filed a counter claim of assault in the case.

After both Meade and the customer, Ethan Kresofsky, were found to have their claims against each other deemed valid by a judge, the next court date was set for a trial in both cases.

See the background HERE.

Case should get tossed.

Does being gay give one the right to act like a drunken moron.?

Meade treats people in a demeaning way all the time. I like that bar but when I see James meade there I avoid it. He is rude and degrades women. However given what I've read so far both parties should have repercussions. But shame on the establishment continuing to employ this individual. If he didn't have a brother in the department this would be more publicized

Good bartenders can really impact a bar's business--and good bar owners know this. One charismatic, interesting, funny and talkative bartender keeps the customer there for more than 1 drink and keeps the customers and their friends coming back. One dour barkeeper prevents patrons from having an attachment to your place. Pretty simple.
