TOWNSHIP PROMOTES APARTMENT PROJECT RENTALS

You don't see this very often, the Township promoting a commercial development project.

But as this is the controversial new apartment project to replace the old Police Station site, perhaps not a surprise.

Just posted on the Township Website:

Affordable Rentals in the Station House at Maplewood on Dunnel Road

Brand new 1 & 2 bedroom affordable apartments for those in the low and moderate income category.
The marketing of the affordable rental units at 125 Dunnell Rd began recently with an advertisement in the Star Ledger. Preliminary applications are due by April 1, 2013 to be included in the next random drawing to establish the list for these and future units in other Maplewood locations. Preliminary applications are available in the Office of the Township Clerk and the Office of the Township Administrator. Preliminary application can also be seen and submitted on-line at www.affordablehomesnewjersey.com or by calling 973-544-8758
