CHS FOOTBALL LOSES A TOUGH ONE TO MONTCLAIR

Quarterback Nate Crutchfield threw two touchdown passes and Michael Million ran for two scores as Montclair defeated Columbia, 44-6, yesterday in Montclair.
Montclair is in sole possession of first place in the Super Essex American Division and has one division game left with Bloomfield on Thanksgiving.
Million, who had 16 carries for 130 yards, had two TD runs in the first half, and Crutchfield, who was 8-for-12 passing for 100 yards, hit Kenny Rosario with a 26-yard TD pass to spot Montclair a 22-6 lead.
Montclair scored twice in the third quarter on a 6-yard run by Jamille Campbell and a 16-yard pass from Crutchfield to Austin Stevens and got a 2-yard TD run from Brandon Taylor in the fourth.
Darius Slade had three sacks and a fumble recovery, Stevens had 1 1/2 sacks, DeAndre Smith had a fumble recovery and an interception, and Clarence Sears intercepted a pass for Montclair.
