THREE DISTRICT SCHOOLS ON STATE ACHIEVEMENT GAP LIST

PATCH and NJ Spotlight report that both district middle schools and Clinton School are designated as "Focus Schools" for achievement gaps under a new state designation.

The story states that such schools have the highest achieving category of students with proficiency rates double that of the lowest.

In SOMA, that is significant because Superintendent Brian Osborne has made bridging the achievement gap among his priorities.
