BURGLARIES, AUTO DAMAGE AND ARREST MARK POLICE WEEK

October 26, 2011: Malicious Damage. On 10-26-11, a Maryland resident reported that his 2005 BMW was parked on Troy Court when unknown suspect(s) scratched his car, let air out of the tires and placed eggs his vehicle.

October 26, 2011: Recovered Stolen Vehicle. On 10-26-11, officers observed a black Ford Explorer parked and running on Jacoby Street. Officers subsequently determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Elizabeth with the keys in the ignition. Elizabeth PD was notified of the recovery.

October 27, 2011: Burglary. On 10-27-11, officers responded to a Valley Street Apartment on a report of a burglary. The resident reported that unknown suspect(s) entered his apartment through an unlocked window between 8:50 am and 5:54 pm  but did not remove any items from the residence.

October 31, 2011: Burglary. On 10-31-11, officers responded to a Boyden Avenue doctor’s office on a report of a burglary. Employees reported that during the overnight hours, unknown suspect(s) entered a storage pod at that location and removed an examination table.
